Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon®, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage Pohlcat Golf Course, a daily-fee course in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Indigo Sports, a Troon company, will oversee golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage, and sales and marketing.

Designed by former PGA TOUR professional and Mountain Pleasant native Dan Pohl, Pohlcat’s 18-hole layout has beautiful tree-lined fairways, playing over and around the scenic 100-foot-wide Chippewa River. The par-72, 6,954-yard course opened in 1992 and features a mix of modern and classic links-style holes. PohlCat also has expansive practice facilities, including a practice range, chipping green and two putting greens.

Pohlcat’s clubhouse includes The Den Bar & Grill, a well-appointed golf shop, and golf simulators for year-round enjoyment. The property’s newly renovated banquet facility is available for meetings, weddings and events, with reception seating for up to 275 guests, while a covered veranda overlooks the golf course and Chippewa River.
