Both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine rate True Spec among the best; Premium brand-agnostic club fitter has made Golf Digest’s list every year since the company’s founding
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — True Spec Golf is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by Golf Digest magazine as one of the most trusted sources for quality club fitting in the country and is prominently featured in the publication’s biennial list of the “Best Clubfitters in America.”
More than 1,000 facilities were reviewed, including through nomination forms that detailed each facility’s resources, tools, expertise and fitting methodology. A poll of leading equipment-company experts, as well as a nationwide panel of more than 2,000 Golf Digest course-ranking panelists, was conducted to determine the rankings. In addition, for the first time ever, an online poll of Golf Digest subscribers generated nearly 10,000 votes.
The Golf Digest list first debuted in 2011 and considers the full range of facilities that offer clubfitting to the general public: from independent shops, practice ranges and full-service performance centers, to large retail stores, resorts, golf courses and national chains.
“Our mission at True Spec is to help our customers enjoy the game of golf more by being fit with equipment that provides consistency,” said Ryan Richardson, president of True Spec Golf. “We also strive to be consistent in our business as a whole, and being honored by Golf Digest as one of the best clubfitters in the country every year since we began in 2014, demonstrates the type of sustained excellence we have worked so hard to achieve.”
True Spec’s brand-agnostic fitting matrix has more than 50,000 club head and shaft combinations from every major equipment manufacturer which helps its master fitters find the best equipment to improve a player’s game. Each club will be custom built at True Spec’s Scottsdale headquarters to the exact specifications derived from the fitting process.
Consistently ranked by GOLF magazine and Golf Digest as one of America’s top club fitters, True Spec is the nation’s undisputed leader in luxury club fitting. With over 30 locations spread across the country and around the globe, True Spec Golf have experienced tremendous growth over the last two years and have also partnered with exceptional facilities to expand their reach.
