About the Superintendent of the Year Award
TurfNet hase been honoring the accomplishments of golf course superintendents since 2000. A panel of judges will select a group of finalists based on the following criteria: labor management, maximizing budget limitations, educating and advancing the careers of colleagues and assistants, negotiating with government agencies, preparing for tournaments under unusual circumstances, service to golf clientele, upgrading or renovating the course and dealing with extreme or emergency conditions.
Finalists and the winner will be named early in 2021. The winner will receive a Sonos Cinematic Surround Sound Audio System and Weatherproof Outdoor Sound System, courtesy of Syngenta. Deadline to enter is December 31.
