TURTLESON APPOINTS JIM CALL AS VP, LICENSED PRODUCT SALES

BRISTOL, TN. – Turtleson, creators of striking, sophisticated apparel for discerning customers who appreciate exceptional style and wearability, has named Jim Call its VP, Licensed Product Sales. Call will lead sales growth through expansion of the company’s wholesale partnerships, including the company’s burgeoning collegiate licensed apparel line. Call has 25 years of experience in collegiate and pro sports licensed products; he will highlight Turtleson’s innovative product line to partner with key retailers in the performance, golf and lifestyle categories.

“Turtleson is carving a new niche in the apparel world by challenging the industry status quo; we want people to think of Turtleson as ‘cool wearable gear’ for men and women that keeps pace with their active lives,” said Greg Oakley, co-founder and CEO of Turtleson. “Jim’s an important piece of our growth plan in 2025; his impressive career positions him well to help drive Turtleson’s sales and to continue to raise awareness with our retail partners about the benefits of Turtleson’s robust lineup of performance wear and licensed apparel.”

Throughout his career Call, who most recently has run a successful sales agency, has driven wholesale sales results at companies such as Starter Sportswear, Russell Athletic, J America Apparel, Cutter & Buck, New Era Cap and Tommy Bahama, among others. In many of his former roles Call has been recognized for producing the highest sales volume and greatest sales territory growth percentage.

Call’s distinguished career has been heralded with accolades including multiple wholesale-focused sales awards. He has also served on multiple advisory boards that have provided him with an unparalled depth of knowledge about the performance wear category. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University.
