TURTLESON CELEBRATES GROVER WALKER’S CAREER AND ANNOUNCES TAMMY KAMINSKY AS SUCCESSOR

Industry veterans and colleagues gathered at PGA Show to honor Grover Walker’s 50+ years of service, while Tammy Kaminsky steps in to continue his legacy at Turtleson.

Bristol T.N. –  Turtleson, creators of striking, sophisticated apparel for discerning customers who appreciate exceptional style and wearability, celebrated the career of esteemed Account Executive, Grover Walker with a retirement party at the PGA Show in Orlando, FL. Industry colleagues, friends and longtime customers gathered at the Turtleson booth to celebrate Walker’s accomplished career. Many stories were told, and a few tears were shed as the group honored his lasting impact on the industry.

With more than 50 years of experience, Walker has represented premier brands such as Izod Lacoste, Corbin, Bobby Jones and most recently, Turtleson. His career has included booking business at some of golf’s most prestigious tournaments—both domestically and internationally— including the Masters, U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.

“Grover is the definition of dedication and perseverance,” said Greg Oakley, co-founder and CEO of Turtleson. “His work ethic, exemplary customer service and passionate knowledge of tailored clothing and sportswear have set him apart throughout his career. He will be greatly missed here at Turtleson, but we were honored to celebrate his remarkable journey in Orlando last week. We are grateful for his countless contributions and wish him nothing but the best in his next chapter.”

In addition to honoring Grover, the Turtleson team delighted in announcing his replacement, Tammy Kaminsky. Kaminsky joined the Turtleson team in 2022 with more than 30 years of experience in representing global brands such as Per Lui Per Lei, MAC Jeans and Tailor Vintage. Prior to rejoining the Specialty Retail market, Kaminsky focused on the golf side of the Turtleson business, specifically in the MET PGA Section. She spent her time growing the golf business, building relationships and earning trust by delivering exceptional product and outstanding customer service.

“I’m thrilled to be coming back to the Men’s Specialty Market with Turtleson while continuing the momentum with Turtleson Golf in the MET section, said Kaminsky. “It is an absolute privilege to be chosen for the opportunity to follow in Grover’s legendary footsteps. He is my mentor, my friend and I am grateful to have the honor of representing Turtleson in his former role.”
