Updates and Expansion to Dining Areas Enhance Social Life and Experiences
DALLAS — Twin Creeks Country Club—located in the Texas Hill Country 25 minutes northwest of downtown Austin—has completed a multi-million-dollar transformation that includes dramatic upgrades to its main and private dining rooms, as well as the bar and lounge areas. The family-oriented club, which features an acclaimed Fred Couples Signature Golf Course, is owned by Arcis Golf, a premier owner and operator of private, resort, and daily fee golf and country clubs in the United States.
The interior renovation was inspired by the beauty of the club’s landscape. The design team modernized the interior aesthetic to complement the native surroundings. A light neutral palette, highlighted by natural materials and textures, draws attention to the spectacular landscape visible through large windows. Natural wood tones, warm metal finishes, and clay-fired tile convey a casual, hand-crafted, yet sophisticated member experience while original creations of local artists adorn the space.
The transformation focused on the club’s dining areas, which have been elevated with an enlarged and renovated bar, bar lounge, and restaurant with an adjacent private dining room. A natural stone fireplace anchors the bar lounge and offers a dedicated space for cocktails and light bites.
The main and private dining rooms have received new finishes, decorative lighting, and a variety of seating options. The upper-level patio, which wraps around the building, has become an integral part of the dining and club experience with its tables, soft seating, and fire features. The outdoor seating area now can accommodate as many as 60 guests for year-round dining, with another 150 seats inside.
New lunch and dinner menus, created by Executive Chef Anthony Latteri, have been introduced, while the already robust cocktail and beer menus have been expanded. The dinner menu features member favorites including Blackened Shrimp Alfredo, Chicken Tinga Enchiladas, Braised Short Rib and Steak Frites, complemented by small plate offerings, salads, and hand-held items such as the Crush Burger, a signature item on Arcis club menus.
“Twin Creeks occupies an ideal setting in Texas Hill Country,” said Blake Walker, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Arcis Golf. “This club offers everything—starting with a great golf course—that families are seeking.”
Walker indicated this is the second phase of renovations completed at Twin Creeks CC. The club upgraded its 8,000-square-foot Family Activities Center, adding new cardio equipment, a renovated studio, and an expanded fitness class schedule. Tennis courts were resurfaced and are convertible into pickleball courts, allowing for greater flexibility and usage.
The club’s Aquatics Center, featuring a Junior Olympic-sized pool, zero-entry resort-style swimming pool, and slide and splash-pad area for children, is another example of how Twin Creeks caters to the entire family.
A robust schedule of special events brings Twin Creeks’ members together to socialize. The annual Crawfish Boil is a popular tradition with a seafood boil on the scenic lawn, live music, and an array of family entertainment. Members also can be found convening to build the perfect charcuterie board while sipping on wine or champagne. Moreover, each month the club hosts a themed 9-hole couples golf scramble with unique on-course challenges. Murder mystery dinners, holiday brunches, and chef’s tables are all part of the robust member programming. The youngest Twin Creeks members and their families are treated to monthly events, including superhero appearances, princess performances, and even, on occasion, a wildlife interaction.
The hub of Twin Creeks Country Club is its acclaimed golf course, a 7,033-yard, par-72 layout. The namesake creeks traverse the course, resulting in stream crossings and natural water elements that come into play on 13 of the course’s 18 holes. The golf operation has an entirely new fleet of EZ-GO RXG golf carts with geo-tracking features.
