Smart2Move AG, Basel (Switzerland) Golf’s Leader in Dual Force plates measurement, is expanding their operations in the US, incorporating a new Director of Research.
Smart2Move is excited and honored to announce Doctor Tyler Standifird as the Director of Research and Science for S2M North America. Tyler holds a PhD in Biomechanics and is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. Tyler is also the Lead Biomechanist for SuperSpeed Golf and brings a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the ground-golfer connection as he built the actual SuperSpeed overspeed training protocol.
In his new role, Tyler will work closely with Jean-Paul Fernandez, S2M’s CTO and Sports Scientist, to shape the future of Smart2Move’s education experience. His expertise in biomechanics will allow S2M to offer the most comprehensive and accessible learning platform for ground reaction force information. This will ensure that all users can teach and train confidently with the data given by force plates.
This Spring, Smart2Move will provide a new training experience via their online training certification level 1 and 2, making it easier to learn and improve the use of the S2M force plates, especially with the new 3D Dual Force Plates.
“The new version of Smart2Move’s certification programmes will be invaluable to golf players around the world, giving them the ability to measure and assess Ground Reaction Forces, specially applied to our newer S2M 3D Dual Force Plates.” said Jean-Paul Fernández, Sports Scientist and CTO of Smart2Move.
