U.S. Kids Golf, the global leader in all things kids golf, announces the appointment of former PING Golf National Sales Manager John Plaziak as the new Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Kids Golf, LLC.
A rich golf and business background backs Plaziak’s appointment. From his collegiate years on the Furman Golf Team to his successful tenures at Dunlop Slazenger and PING Golf, Plaziak has consistently demonstrated his leadership prowess. His commitment to teamwork, strategic growth, brand awareness, and customer service has been unwavering, setting him apart as a unique candidate for this role.
Throughout his professional career, he has shown remarkable acumen for increasing sales volume at all levels while fostering a culture of family and excellence. These traits will transition him seamlessly into the U.S. Kids Golf organization.
“U.S. Kids Golf holds a distinctive and significant position within the golf ecosystem, and I am deeply passionate about its mission,” Plaziak shares. “This isn’t just a job for me; it’s a part of my life. I’ve raised my kids in this culture, and now, to help lead it is quite the honor. The success of U.S. Kids Golf means more families and young players being introduced to the game, and that’s a cause I’m excited to champion.”
Dan Van Horn, the Founder and President of U.S. Kids Golf, will continue to serve as President, collaborating closely with Plaziak. “John’s addition to our leadership team is a testament to our commitment to serving families for generations to come. His passion for golf and families embodies who we are and what we do. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”
Even with all his professional accomplishments, Plaziak quickly points out that his favorite role in golf was being a caddie for his son, Bradley, in U.S. Kids Golf events. Bradley is now attempting to play professionally and earn status on various tours. His daughter, Katy, is a student at Indiana University studying theater. Plaziak lives with his wife of 33 years, Kim, in Alpharetta, Georgia, and will work out of the Peachtree Corners, Georgia, office of U.S. Kids Golf.
