March 15. 2022 – Myrtle Beach, SC. Ultimate Long Drive, Inc (ULD) and Chapters Health Foundation have partnered to add a new twist to their annual charity golf tournament. ULD will provide a complete long drive experience by creating the same atmosphere, grid layout, and conditions as in their amateur and professional long drive competitions. During their round, players in the charity golf tournament will step up to the long drive tee and (hopefully) place their best drives in the ULD grid that will be located on the Lake Jovita Golf Club driving range. At the end of the day, the four longest will return to the tee for a shootout round to determine the winner of that portion of the event.
Chapters Health System provides support and care for people with or affected by advanced illnesses by offering a wide variety of compassionate healthcare choices. The Hospice Open Presented by Zeno Office Solutions is an annual fundraiser. Proceeds benefit Chapters Heatlh® Foundation.
ULD, established in 2017 and based in Myrtle Beach, SC will sanction 300+ amateur and professional long drive events during the 2022 season in 30 countries. “We’re extremely excited to be part of the Hospice Open,” said Jeff Gilder, President of ULD. “We’re bringing two- time and reigning World Long Drive Champion, Jeff Crittenden and the 2021 top (World #1) amateur long driver, Zach Hammer to do some exhibitions for the event. It’s going to be a blast!”
