FRISCO, Texas – The PGA of America today announced the roster of 10 PGA of America Golf Professionals who will represent the United States against Great Britain & Ireland in the 32nd PGA Cup. The biennial team competition will be played Oct. 2-4, 2026, at The K Club in County Kildare, Ireland.
The U.S. Team was determined through a two-year point system, which included the 2025-26 PGA Professional Championships and 2025-26 PGA Championships. Points qualification concluded with the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Philadelphia, this past May.
“The PGA Cup remains one of the greatest highlights of my career and I am beyond excited to lead our team this October,” said Ben Polland, U.S. Team Captain and PGA Director of Golf at Shooting Star at Jackson Hole. “I am incredibly proud of these 10 PGA of America Golf Professionals who earned the honor of representing our country and Association as members of the 2026 U.S. PGA Cup Team. Each of these individuals possess a commitment and passion for the game that is second to none. I look forward to Ireland as we seek a fourth consecutive Llandudno International Trophy.”
The U.S. Team is headlined by 2026 PGA Professional Champion Jesse Droemer (Houston, Texas). Droemer, PGA Teaching Professional at Riverbend Country Club, finished atop the points list after winning this year’s PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes and posting a runner-up finish in the 2025 edition at PGA Golf Club.
Droemer will be one of eight players making their PGA Cup debuts. The 2025 PPC Champion Tyler Collet (Vero Beach, Fla.) and the 2026 PGA Championship’s Low PGA of America Golf Professional Ben Kern (Columbus, Ohio) competed in the 2024 and 2019 editions, respectively.
