IMPROVED SEARCH FUNCTIONALITY AMONG MANY UPGRADES TO NEW GOLF CHANNEL ACADEMY WEBSITE
Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities and world-class coaches, has re-launched its website, GolfChannelAcademy.com , in conjunction with technology partner, ThrivSports.
The new and improved website, which handles roughly 200,000 visitors annually, includes several significant enhancements designed to drive new students to its 87 facilities and 225 coaches worldwide. Chief among these is a large, bold search bar on the homepage that allows visitors to quickly search by city, state or zip code to find the coach nearest them. Once they find a coach to their liking, they can then book directly online through the facility’s own scheduling platform for a fast, easy and safe purchasing experience.
Other upgrades include more coach profiles and interviews, student testimonials and a featured video that explains more about Golf Channel Academy’s very knowledgeable, innovative and dedicated coaches. There’s also a new blog, “The Range”, featuring all of the latest news and achievements of GCA’s coaches, as well as helpful instructional videos and Q&As with the coaches. Visitors to the site will also be walked through Golf Channel Academy’s introductory New Student Assessment program, and will have the opportunity to learn more about a wide array of instructional programs offered by GCA’s facilities.
The new site is fully optimized for mobile devices where the majority of searches to the site now originate, providing for a more pleasant viewing experience on small devices. All photos and videos are stacked, making it easy to scroll and find what you’re looking for.
