Peachtree Corners, Ga. – Responding to demand from coaches worldwide, U.S. Kids Golf is offering several upcoming opportunities in May and June for coaches to become certified, or advance to the next level of accreditation.
With over 6,500 golf coaches from more than 60 nations having already participated in Certified Coach education, the Foundation is expanding its areas of training and credentialing to better serve coaches and the entire golf community.
U.S. Kids Golf Coach Certification is currently available as follows:
Certified Coach 1: Provides golf professionals and coaches knowledge about the foundational aspects of coaching young players.
Certified Coach 2: Focuses on various learning and personality styles and the importance of having a curriculum and pathway for both players and coaches.
Player Pathway Coach 3: Offers training for coaches implementing the Player Pathway curriculum with a focus on having a “next” for students as they work through the various levels.
Online interactive “virtual seminars” are scheduled through June as follows:
May 9 Certified Coach 1
May 11 Certified Coach 2
May 18 Player Pathway Coach 3
May 23 Certified Coach 1
June 8 Certified Coach 1
June 15 Certified Coach 2
June 28 Certified Coach 1
June 29 Player Pathway Coach 3
Seminars are presented over 3 hours, with an online assessment required to complete certification. The cost for each is $149 and includes all materials and resources.
