Peachtree Corners, Ga. – Responding to demand from coaches worldwide, U.S. Kids Golf is offering several upcoming opportunities in the remainder of March and April for coaches to become certified, or advance to the next level of accreditation.
With nearly 7,000 golf coaches from more than 60 nations having already participated in Certified Coach education, the Foundation is expanding its areas of training and credentialing to better serve coaches and the entire golf community.
U.S. Kids Golf Coach Certification is currently available as follows:
Certified Coach 1: Provides golf professionals and coaches knowledge about the foundational aspects of coaching young players and the six keys to coaching junior golf.
Certified Coach 2: Focuses on various learning and personality styles and the importance of having a curriculum and pathway for both players and coaches.
Online interactive “virtual seminars” are scheduled through June as follows:
March 7 Certified Coach 1
March 8 Certified Coach 2
March 20 Certified Coach 2
March 21 Certified Coach 1
April 3 Certified Coach 1
April 12 Certified Coach 2
April 18 Certified Coach 1
April 24 Certified Coach 2
Seminars are presented over 3 hours, with an online assessment required to complete certification. The cost for each is $149 and includes all materials and resources.
