FORT WORTH, TX – UST Mamiya’s LIN-Q PowerCore continues to build momentum across professional golf, adding another victory on the Korn Ferry Tour with UST Mamiya Staff Member Jeremy Gandon capturing the LECOM Suncoast Classic title.
Gandon’s performance was defined by precision and power under pressure. Gaming a LIN-Q PowerCore White 7TX in his driver and All-IN® putter shaft, he closed with a third consecutive 6-under 65 to reach 22-under par, tying the tournament’s 72-hole scoring record. His final round showcased complete control off the tee, hitting 100% of fairways, including a clutch 325-yard drive on the 18th hole that set up the winning birdie.
That combination of accuracy and distance reflects the core performance intent behind LIN-Q PowerCore. Designed to deliver stability throughout the swing, the platform helps players maintain control when it matters most, whether that is finding every fairway in a final round or stepping up to deliver a decisive drive under pressure.
The performance extended beyond the winner’s circle. At the LECOM Suncoast Classic, UST Mamiya had nine players finish inside the top 20, highlighting the growing trust in the brand and the consistency of its shaft lineup in competitive conditions.
This latest win marks the second Korn Ferry Tour victory in recent events for LIN-Q PowerCore players. Earlier this season, Alistair Docherty captured the Visa Argentina Open while playing a LIN-Q PowerCore Blue 7TX in his driver, along with White profiles in his fairway woods. Known for his consistent power, Docherty is currently averaging 314 yards off the tee, further reinforcing the platform’s ability to pair speed with control.
As adoption continues to grow across professional tours, LIN-Q PowerCore is increasingly finding its way into the winner’s circle. From emerging talent on the Korn Ferry Tour to established players like Ben Griffin competing at the highest level, the platform continues to validate its performance where it matters most.
The company produces a variety of shaft models, including the renowned Recoil (The #1 Graphite Iron Shaft in the Market), LIN-Q PowerCore, Helium, PROFORCE and ATTAS lines, which have received significant usage on major professional tours world-wide. Paralleling its achievements at the professional level, the company’s shafts have remained the top-selling aftermarket option in the United States the past 15+ years.
