Finnerty to Headline the “Evidence-based Approach to Growing Golf Participation” Panel at the Golf Inc. Summit from October 26-28 at La Quinta Resort, CA
Novi, MI — V1 Sports (V1), developers of the leading video analysis, ground pressure, on-course shot tracking, stats and game management technologies for coaches and athletes, has announced that CEO Bryan Finnerty will serve as a panelist at the 2021 Golf Inc. Summit, from October 26-28 at La Quinta Resort, CA, where he will headline the “Evidence-based Approach to Growing Golf Participation” panel.
On the heels of significant backing from Michael Jordan’s golf technology fund, Black Cat Ventures, V1 continues to leverage Artificial Intelligence and advanced technology to further establish its leadership position in golf products and services designed to enhance coaching and overall game improvement.
Today, V1 is delivering over 50,000 lessons each month through the Company’s suite of video analysis software and mobile apps, as well as the new V1 Pressure Mat, golf’s best portable and affordable ground pressure tool to measure and display the quantity and quality of forces that an athlete is applying in their golf swing. V1’s vast experience includes working with over 10k coaches and millions of golfers.
“V1 Sports is a company at the forefront of innovation that is proving to make a difference in how instructors teach, and how golfers both learn and improve,” said Finnerty. “Through V1’s game improvement platform, the teaching community is more equipped than ever to deliver relevant in-person and online instruction, while golfers have new tools and resources at their fingertips that are making a difference in how they practice and play.”
During the Golf Inc. Summit, Finnerty will share data and case studies that reveal how V1 technology is making it easier for golfers to improve their game, from anywhere at any time. He will be joined by Sue Shapcott, PhD, PGA of GB&I, Owner, Change Golf Instruction; Cathy Harbin, President and CEO, On Course Operations; and Anthony Robinson, CEO, Golf Surprize; to discuss golfer engagement and fun as it relates to experiences at a golf facility or remotely.
Adds Finnerty, “At V1 we deliver best-in-class video analysis and ground pressure data to take the ‘emotion’ out of interpretation. Seeing is believing and ground pressure now allows both the coach and athlete to see what could only be felt in the past. The combination of video and pressure speeds up learning and therefore provides more enjoyment in the game.”
