(SARASOTA, Fla.) – AM GOLF will continue as the official event management and scoring platform of the Vegas Baby Spring Shootout, March 29 to April 1, as part of the “world’s largest Pro-Am.”
The Vegas Baby Spring Shootout is a secondary event from its companion fall event that hosts up to 600 golfers over three rounds across award-winning golf courses in metro Las Vegas. The Spring event held over the popular March Madness season, will be contested at the Paiute Golf Resort (three layouts designed by Pete Dye), Spanish Trail (Robert Trent Jones, Jr.) and Reflection Bay (Nicklaus Design Team)
AM GOLF technology powered the 2025 Vegas Baby fall event and will do the same for this year’s edition, November 15-19.
Simplifying complex operations for Vegas Baby staff, the AM GOLF platform represents a simpler means to run golf events while delivering more modern player experiences. AM GOLF’s super-easy registration, live scoring and leaderboards, communication and golfer-creation side games reduce administrative burden without limiting flexibility.
AM GOLF is also well known for its built-in AI agent that helps Vegas Baby set up events on each player’s behalf with a simple voice command, making event creation faster, easier and less dependent on manual staff input.
Golfers also have more control over their own experiences: they set up and manage their own private games and side competitions without relying on golf shop staff for every request or adjustment. That means fewer interruptions for the Vegas Baby team, and less pre- and event-day friction.

“The Vegas Baby Pro-Am has several challenging team net Stableford formats unique to our event,” said Scott Kolb, a PGA member and owner of Vegas Baby. “Previous tournament scoring systems we used were unable to figure out how to score without heavy manipulation by the organizer post round. However, the AM GOLF team only took minutes to apply the formulas and tweaks required.
“Scoring was rock-solid, setup was fast and the social layer kept players connected throughout the week – something we’ve never seen executed this well. It also saved us from having a conferencing / communications app and a scoring app, so participants only needed one app for the entire event”
“Operators want tools that make events easier to run, not harder,” said Kevin Carpenter, U.S. Managing Director of AM GOLF. “Vegas Baby is a perfect example of what makes AM GOLF different – we handle sophisticated tournament formats quickly and accurately while giving players connected social experiences which create more fun for them and less work for staff.”
AM GOLF burst on the U.S. scene in January following immense popularity of its golf technology in Europe.
The platform serves golf associations, federations, tours and similar governing bodies. Its software efficiently, intuitively and in one place manages membership programs, official handicaps and events, all geared to build active communities among their members, partners and related constituencies. No more toggling between multiple screens.
Golfers use the single destination AM GOLF app to manage their official handicaps; book tee times; access and register for newfound golf tournaments near and wide; communicate with golf buddies and initiate friendships with like-minded players; catalog and track skills improvements, scores and wages; buy and sell golf merchandise; and much more. No longer do they have to access multiple apps when the AM GOLF houses all their information in one place.
