St. Paul, MN – VertaCat, creator of the stand-on-command mobility rider for adaptive golfers with disabilities and lower limb challenges, announced plans to exhibit at the 2025 PGA Show, January 21-24, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Here it will introduce its bold new VertaCat Indoor product for the indoor golf simulator market.
Inspired by VertaCat’s original all-terrain mobility rider – along with the growth and popularity of the indoor golf simulator phenomenon – the company will launch its VertaCat Indoor, an adaptive golf device that will enable many of the 600,000 disabled golfers across the US to enjoy the benefits of the outdoor stand-on-command VertaCat at indoor driving ranges, golf retail stores and, of course, in their own homes.
“For the first time, golfers who wish to enjoy a simulated golf experience can employ a VertaCat product designed for use in golf stores, indoor golf ranges such as Top Golf, and even in their own homes,” says Jeff Nicholson, Chief MarketingOfficer for VertaCat. “It’s a game changer that unites the enormous popularity of golf simulators with the adaptive golf innovations we’ve built into VertaCat.”
At VertaCat booth #1682 at the PGA Show, two-time U.S. Adaptive Open #1-ranked golf champion Max Togisala will demonstrate VertaCat, sign autographs, and discuss his national advocacy for how golfers with disabilities can continue to lead active and adventurous lives on the course.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the new VertaCat Indoor to our VertaCat golf product family,” says Nicholson. “These deeply engineered products were designed to ensure that golfers with lower limb challenges can still enjoy the game of golf that they love!” The new VertaCat Indoor weighs just 200 pounds and features electric actuators for a stand-up assist system that effortlessly enables the golfer to easily lift his or her body into perfect position for a swing.
Made in the USA, VertaCat’s original electric stand-up assist system provides padded chest, waist, and knee straps that securely lift you into an upright stance where you can grab a golf club with one or two hands. After consultation with golfers who have disabilities, VertaCat offers a steepness-warning accelerometer, pivot-in-place positioning technology, turf-friendly tires, fold-out armrests, and anti-jerk acceleration for a smooth ride on the course.
“We’ll keep striving for a world where mobility limitations will not hamper anyone’s freedom to engage in golf or other favorite outdoor activities,” concludes Nicholson.
