Vidanta Vallarta, host of the 2022, 2023 & 2024 PGA Mexico Open, have brought in premium technology to add a new dimension to their driving range.
Inrange will provide a new opportunity to unite families and friends through golf.
Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta, the proud host of the 2022 – 2024 PGA TOUR Mexico Open at Vidanta tournament, has embraced cutting-edge technology to enhance its driving range experience.
The iconic Mexican resort and golf venue, which saw Tony Finau lift the trophy this year, and John Rahm in 2022, has made the decision to upgrade some of its facilities by bringing the practice experience into the 21st century, as well as introduce an off-course entertainment offering.
The decision to incorporate technology into its golf offering was a straightforward one, as today’s customers expect technology in everything they do. But choosing the right partner was the more challenging element. After looking at the various options available, Vidanta opted to go for the premium radar ball-tracking of Inrange® Golf, which has been nominated for or won seven golf tech awards in the last two years.
Given the breadth of Inrange®’s software – being able to offer both practice and multiple social experiences, the Vidanta team is confident that it can offer more not only to the golfer keen to hone their skills but also to ‘fun seeking’ visitors who can now spend time at the range in their Par Tee Zone – specifically built for playing games on the range and spending an afternoon eating, drinking and having fun.
“At Vidanta, we always aim to provide the best experiences to our visitors. We know that having Inrange® installed at our range will create moments that bring families and friends together,” said Angel Gomez Torres, Director of Golf for Grupo Vidanta.
“The process of working with them to get everything ready has been brilliant, and visitors have already been impressed by what we’ve created here. This is hopefully the first of many venues where we partner with Inrange®,” he added.
Vidanta Golf is the leading golf course developer in Mexico, boasting seven breathtaking golf courses, three of which were designed by golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. These immaculate courses have hosted numerous top golfers and Hollywood superstars, including Mark Wahlberg, who recently visited and filmed a promotional campaign for Vidanta Resorts.
