Dallas, TX – The Women’s All Pro Tour, the Official Qualifying Tour for the LPGA’s Epson Tour, will be heading to Lake Charles, Louisiana for the third year in a row, but will be taking up a new home course for the L’Auberge Lake Charles Championship. The four day tournament will feature over 100 of the best LPGA hopefuls competing at the beautiful Contraband Bayou Golf Club at L’Auberge Casino Resort.
“L’Auberge Casino Resort is an amazing property and is a perfect venue for the WAPT. The resort is rolling out the red carpet for the women and we can’t thank Harold Rowland and the whole L’Auberge team for their hospitality,” said WAPT President Gary DeSerrano. “The inaugural event is going to be one to remember and we can’t wait to see the event come down to the final hole!”
The L’Auberge Lake Charles Championship is scheduled for April 12th – April 15th, 2023. The week will include a Pro-Am, clinics, parties and a 72-hole championship finishing on Saturday, April 15th all benefiting the Autism Services of Louisiana. The tournament purse is expected to be $55,000 with the tournament champion taking home $10,000 minimum. In addition, as the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA’s Epson Tour, the tournament winner and runner-up will each receive an exemption into an upcoming Epson Tour event.
