Waterville, Ireland – Waterville Golf Links in County Kerry, Ireland kicks off the 2018 golf season with a visit from golf legend Nancy Lopez who played Waterville Links with an enthusiast group traveling on a Nancy Lopez Adventures trip.
The Waterville Links highlighted season events include the Summer Solstice June Member Guest, the Kerry Cup and two signature Carr Golf events; the 11th World Invitational Father & Daughter 29th, the World Invitational Father & Son and the September Member Guest. These events bring golf families from all over the world to Waterville Links to experience true links golf in a setting like no other. The history, quality golf and comradery keep these golfers coming back year after year.
This year’s summer solstice members and guests were treated to spectacular weather, superior course conditions and welcomed new faces as a result of increased membership thus adding to the competition and comradery. Phase one of the recent renovations to the clubhouse, including the locker facility and a 1,792 sq. foot golf shop were met with high praise and enthusiasm.
