Construction Begins on Wilczynski-Designed 18-Hole Golf Course at Esplanade at Solaeris, Taylor Morrison’s New Golf Residential Community in Port St. Lucie, FL

July 6, 2026

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL. — Construction is underway on the new 18-hole golf course at Taylor Morrison’s Esplanade at Solaeris in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Designed by golf course architect Christopher Wilczynski of C.W. Golf Architecture, the course will serve as the centerpiece of the new golf residential community, offering a unique playing experience for golfers of all skill levels.

“Esplanade at Solaeris reflects our ongoing commitment to creating exceptional lifestyle communities designed around connection, wellness, and shared experiences,” said Jeremy Goulart, Taylor Morrison’s Treasure Coast Vice President of Operations. “We’re proud to collaborate with Chris and a highly accomplished team of industry experts to deliver a premier golf experience that will serve as the centerpiece of the community and a destination residents and guests will enjoy for years to come.”

The project transforms what was once a flat citrus farm into a dynamic golf landscape. Multiple lakes will be created across the property, generating approximately 650,000 to 700,000 cubic yards of soil used to shape the course’s landforms, fairways and playing corridors. Native Florida vegetation, including live oaks, pines, palms and other plant materials, will be thoughtfully incorporated throughout the course to frame the holes, enhance aesthetics and support wildlife habitat.

Wilczynski’s design emphasizes strategic variety and diverse playing experiences through a mix of par-3, par-4 and par-5 holes featuring varied lengths and risk-reward opportunities, including several drivable par-4s.

A five-tee system ranging from approximately 3,800 to 7,000 yards will provide options for golfers of all abilities, from beginners to accomplished players. Distinctive green complexes with varying sizes, elevations, angles and contouring will create strategic interest and introduce unique playing characteristics from hole to hole.

“I hope golfers and residents are drawn to the course for its beauty, strategic character, challenge and playability,” said Wilczynski. “Our goal is to create a sense of place that encourages shared experiences with family and friends. The best rounds are those where each hole makes you look forward to the next—and that’s what we’re focused on delivering.”

Contractors include Ryangolf (golf course construction), Atwell (civil engineering), RVi (land planning and landscape architecture), Guettler Brothers (mass grading), Aqua Turf International and Sean Hyduk (irrigation design), and GT Irrigation (irrigation construction).

Wilczynski will make weekly site visits to oversee each phase of construction through the course’s expected opening for play early to mid-2027.
