WMX Grips Introduces Anero, Expanding Its Advanced Multilayer Engineering into Putting

July 8, 2026

Seoul, South Korea – WMX Grips (wmx-usa.com), building on the momentum of its growing lineup of advanced multilayer golf grips, today introduced Anero, a premium putter grip engineered to deliver precision, feel and superior feedback through lightweight engineering and multilayer construction.

Inspired by the Korean expression meaning “into,” Anero reflects every golfer’s ultimate objective: getting the ball into the hole.

Anero extends WMX’s multilayer engineering into the putting category, applying its lightweight construction expertise to create a larger, high-performance putter grip without the traditional compromises that have historically limited larger putter grip designs.

The engineering behind Anero builds upon the same lightweight multilayer technology found in WMX’s oversized swing grips. By independently engineering each layer, WMX created a larger ergonomic putter grip that delivers exceptional feel, traction and long-term durability while maintaining the ideal weight to preserve putter balance and performance.

A lightweight, firm inner core promotes stability and delivers enhanced feedback at impact, while a soft outer layer made from an advanced polymer provides exceptional feel, comfortable traction and lasting durability. Together, the multilayer construction delivers exceptional precision and touch.

Anero features a precision-sculpted ergonomic profile with subtle shaping and a refined pistol flare that naturally fits the hands and promotes a stable, repeatable stroke. Measuring 30.5 mm front-to-back, 27.5 mm wide and weighing just 90 grams, Anero delivers a larger ergonomic profile while preserving the balance and feel essential to putting performance.

“For years, golfers have had to choose between size, weight, feel and durability because conventional materials make it difficult to optimize all four,” said Kim Hwon, Founder of WMX. “Anero represents our engineering philosophy applied to putting. Through multilayer construction, we’ve created a grip that delivers exceptional stability, responsive feel and precise feedback without the compromises traditionally associated with larger putter grips.”

The WMX Anero putter grip is available now through authorized WMX dealers and online at wmx-usa.com for a suggested retail price of $39.00. Available colors include Zen Black, Raven Gray, Poppy Red and Pastel Pink.
