Robert Sereci, CCM is on board as a speaker at the inaugural World Golf Expo (WGE) to be staged at the giant mission Hills Resort in Haikou, Hainan on March 16 – 18, 2021.
Sereci, the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Medinah Country Club, located in the American state of Illinois, is a 27-year veteran of the hospitality industry. He has earned the reputation of being a community builder in the club industry. He is the very epitome of innovation and possesses a proficiency that lies in his vision for positive change and embracing the trends of the future.

Sereci has been at the helm of Medinah Country Club since 2015. Medinah has a rich 93-year history and it has hosted many of golf’s most prestigious events, including U.S. Opens, a PGA Championship, and the 2012 Ryder Cup.
Under his leadership, Sereci has initiated some outside-the-box things to build the Medinah brand which has caught the attention of people inside and outside of the club industry. Who else would add a chicken coop and a food truck to one of the nation’s great private clubs? Sereci did! He is a results-driven service provider who believes the success of Medinah must go deeper than its golf pedigree.“My team and I want to make Medinah the new neighborhood,” Sereci said. “Along with golf, members join Medinah Country Club because they want to be part of a welcoming and thriving social community where they can experience dynamic shared experiences with other members and their families. Besides managing one of America’s best golf properties, Sereci was also the general manager of The American Club in Hong Kong, a 3000-member club. He holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Cal Poly Pomona and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Sereci is most definitely a New Age club manager and a man eminently qualified to help show the pathway for change in a post-pandemic era.
