BRISTOL, Conn., CINCINNATI, and PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — WTGL, the new women’s team golf league created by TMRW Sports in partnership with the LPGA, and its domestic media partners ESPN and Scripps Sports/ION, today announced its inaugural season schedule, premiering Sunday, Nov. 8 with an opening match on ESPN, as a featured part of ESPN’s Women’s Sports Sundays. The schedule includes 10 regular-season matches, followed by a four-team Semifinals, culminating with the top two teams competing in a best-of-three Finals on Tuesday, Dec. 22 and Wednesday, Dec. 23 to determine the league’s first champion. Matches will air across ESPN platforms, ABC and ION, creating a consistent national spotlight for women’s team golf during WTGL’s debut season.
WTGL’s inaugural season schedule features:
- Eight matches on ESPN networks including the Finals;
- Network doubleheader on Sunday, Nov. 29 on ABC;
- Seven matches in primetime on ION including the second Semifinal match;
- 25 of the LPGA Tour’s best including major champions, Solheim Cup winners, Olympians, an LPGA Hall of Fame member and emerging stars who are ready to showcase women’s team golf and bring new fans to the game;
- Each two-hour match will feature three players from each team competing head-to-head.
WTGL’s inaugural schedule tees off Sunday, Nov. 8, with a marquee matchup between Michelle Wie West’s Los Angeles Golf Club (Aki Iwai, Alison Lee, Gaby López, Kiara Romero and Wie West) and New York Golf Club (Linn Grant, Danielle Kang, Lydia Ko, Yana Wilson and Rose Zhang), airing live on ESPN at 3 p.m. ET.

Opening Day: Los Angeles Golf Club vs. New York Golf Club – Sunday, Nov. 8, 3 p.m. on ESPN
- Michelle Wie West’s return to competition anchors Los Angeles Golf Club against a New York Golf Club roster featuring LPGA Hall of Fame member Lydia Ko and fellow major champion Danielle Kang.
- LAGC’s Alison Lee and NYGC’s Linn Grant bring Solheim Cup momentum into the opener after each posted a perfect 4-0-0 record for their respective teams.
- The future of women’s golf will be on display as NYGC’s Rose Zhang and Yana Wilson and LAGC’s Kiara Romero combined to win consecutive U.S. Girls’ Junior titles in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
- All five NYGC players are LPGA Tour winners, while LAGC features this season’s leader in total birdies, Aki Iwai.
- Gaby López and Ko are among the leaders on the LPGA in strokes gained: putting.
Motor City Golf Club (Brooke M. Henderson, Jeeno Thitikul, Lexi Thompson, Albane Valenzuela and
Ronni Yin) vs. Los Angeles Golf Club – Tuesday, Nov. 10, 8 p.m. on ION
- Lexi Thompson and Michelle Wie West bring shared team history to opposing rosters after representing the United States together in three Solheim Cups.
- The two also share a unique connection: Both became major champions in 2014 with Thompson winning the Chevron Championship and Wie West winning the U.S. Women’s Open.
- Motor City Golf Club makes its debut with proven team chemistry: close friends Jeeno Thitikul and Ronni Yin partnered to win the 2024 Dow Championship.
- Seven different countries are represented between the two rosters.

- Elite iron play highlights the matchup, with Motor City Golf Club’s Jeeno Thitikul and Boston Common Golf’s Lottie Woad both ranking among the LPGA Tour’s top five in greens hit in regulation.
- S. Solheim Cup teammates Lexi Thompson and Megan Khang bring their team competition experience to opposing clubs.
- Boston Common Golf’s Ina Yoon ranks among the LPGA Tour’s top three in strokes gained: off the tee, while Motor City Golf Club’s Brooke M. Henderson leads in total eagles.
Atlanta Drive GC (Nataliya Guseva, Charley Hull, Andrea Lee, Minjee Lee and Yuka Saso) vs. Boston

- Atlanta Drive GC makes its debut with multiple major champions, Minjee Lee and Yuka Saso, alongside fan favorite Charley Hull.
- Solheim Cup representation runs throughout the matchup, including Atlanta Drive GC’s Hull and Andrea Lee and Boston Common Golf’s Megan Khang, Lottie Woad and Céline Boutier.

Network Debut – ABC Doubleheader 1: Boston Common Golf vs. New York Golf Club – Sunday, Nov. 29, 1 p.m. on ABC
- The Boston – New York sports rivalry comes to WTGL, with Massachusetts native Megan Khang bringing hometown pride to Boston Common Golf.
- Lottie Woad and Rose Zhang share a rare distinction: both won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and an LPGA Tour event in their professional debuts.
- New York brings established chemistry through longtime friends Lydia Ko and Danielle Kang, who have partnered in the Dow Championship.
- Solheim Cup teammates will square off against each other as Linn Grant, who went 4-0-0 for the winning European team, will face teammates Woad and Céline Boutier.
ABC Doubleheader 2: Motor City Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive GC – Sunday, Nov. 29, 3:30 p.m. on ABC
- Jeeno Thitikul and Charley Hull headline opposing rosters in the second match of WTGL’s ABC doubleheader.
- Motor City Golf Club’s Ronni Yin edged Atlanta Drive GC’s Yuka Saso by one stroke to win the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
- Atlanta Drive pairs multiple major champions Minjee Lee and Saso against a Motor City Golf Club roster featuring major champions Brooke M. Henderson, Lexi Thompson and Yin.
- Motor City’s Thitikul and Henderson rank No. 1 and No. 4, respectively, in total driving.
Playoff Push Begins: New York Golf Club vs. Motor City Golf Club – Tuesday, Dec. 1, 8 p.m. on ION
- Three players who have reached world No. 1 as professionals feature across the rosters: New York Golf Club’s Lydia Ko and Motor City Golf Club’s Jeeno Thitikul and Ronni Yin, while four players have been ranked No. 1 as amateurs – Rose Zhang, Ko, Thitikul and Brooke M. Henderson.
- Motor City’s Henderson defeated Ko in a playoff to win the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, then finished runner-up to NYGC’s Danielle Kang the following year.
- Team-event winners strengthen both rosters: Thitikul and Yin won the 2024 Dow Championship together, while New York’s Yana Wilson won the 2026 edition with Gina Kim.
National Spotlight: Atlanta Drive GC vs. Los Angeles Golf Club – Sunday, Dec. 6, 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2
- There are U.S. Women’s Open champions on both sides of this matchup, with Los Angeles Golf Club’s Michelle Wie West and Atlanta Drive GC’s Minjee Lee and Yuka Saso.
- Minjee Lee and Alison Lee bring a match-play connection dating to the 2012 U.S. Girls’ Junior final, which Minjee Lee won, 1 up.
- LAGC’s Aki Iwai leads the LPGA Tour in total birdies, while Atlanta Drive GC’s Charley Hull brings an aggressive, pin-seeking approach.
Final Playoff Push: New York Golf Club vs. Atlanta Drive GC – Tuesday, Dec. 8, 8 p.m. on ION
- Solheim Cup rivalries carry into WTGL, with Atlanta Drive GC’s Charley Hull on the opposite roster from American standouts Rose Zhang and Danielle Kang.
- Both teams feature major championship depth: Lydia Ko and Kang represent New York Golf Club, while Minjee Lee and Yuka Saso bring multiple major pedigrees to Atlanta Drive.
- Ko and Hull share a memorable major championship connection: Ko won the 2016 Chevron Championship with Hull finishing one stroke back in a tie for second.
Regular-Season Finale: Los Angeles Golf Club vs. Boston Common Golf – Tuesday, Dec. 15, 8 p.m. on ION
- Boston Common Golf’s Lottie Woad and Los Angeles Golf Club’s Kiara Romero were the first two players to earn LPGA Tour cards through its Elite Amateur Pathway program.
- Boston Common’s Ina Yoon ranks No. 3 this season in strokes gained: off the tee and No. 8 in driving distance.
WTGL Playoffs (all matchups TBD):
The WTGL Playoffs begin with the first semifinal Sunday, Dec. 20, on ESPN2, with the time to be announced, followed by the second semifinal Monday, Dec. 21, at 8 p.m. on ION. The best-of-three Finals begin Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 and continue Wednesday, Dec. 23, with the second match at 7 p.m. on ESPN2 and, if necessary, a deciding third match to follow immediately on ESPN2.
