MIAMI, FL   – XUDE Hospitality, a dynamic golf and hospitality management company headquartered in south Florida, is excited to announce its recent acquisition and extensive renovation plans for Sanibel Island Golf Club.

Located off the southwest coast of Florida near Fort Myers and Naples, charming Sanibel Island features pristine white sand beaches and a lush tropical environment. The semi-private club’s 6,400-yard championship course stretches across 150 acres of natural barrier island terrain filled with abundant native wildlife, enjoyed by golfers and non-golfers alike.

“We are thrilled to bring Sanibel Island Golf Club into the XUDE Hospitality family. This is more than just an acquisition—it’s an opportunity to steward one of Florida’s most iconic destinations and elevate it into a true golf and leisure sanctuary. Our vision is to thoughtfully reimagine both the course and clubhouse, preserving the unique charm and character that make Sanibel so special. We are committed to investing in both tradition and technology by enhancing the golf experience with upgraded fairways, greens, facilities, and state-of-the-art equipment. XUDE is dedicated to sustainability, ensuring that every swing is made responsibly towards this beautiful environment,” says XUDE CEO, Michael Miraglia.

“Nature is not just our backdrop—it’s our partner. Every improvement is made with the island’s unique ecosystem in mind. We’re honored to protect and celebrate this environment as we elevate the golfing experience,” states XUDE’s Jeff Neal.

XUDE Hospitality has initiated significant improvements enhancing playability, conditions, and aesthetics including:

  • Re-grassing tees and fairways with paspalum to complement the outstanding greens
  • Revitalizing lake banks and waste areas
  • Repairing cart paths
  • New short game area
  • New robotic mowers and golf cart fleet
  • Fully renovated restaurant, open to all visitors

“Our goal is to collaborate closely with the Sanibel community to shape the future of the club. Local insight is invaluable to ensure this course remains a source of pride, connection, and enjoyment for generations to come. We’re not just building a golf destination—we’re strengthening a community. From partnering with local businesses to hosting community events, we envision this club as a vibrant hub at the heart of Sanibel Island,” says Miraglia.

XUDE Hospitality is headquartered in Miami with an office in Naples. XUDE brings a wealth of experience in owning and operating private, resort, and public golf courses across the United States and Caribbean. For information visit: www.xudehospitality.com.
