CLEARWATER, FLORIDA – – Zen Golf’s new Enhanced app includes a game-changing Playlists feature which gives users an extraordinary new level of control over its Zen Green Stage and Zen Swing Stage moving floors.
The Playlists feature will transform how golfers and coaches across the world engage with their adjustable Zen playing surfaces, but it’s not the only blockbuster feature of the new Zen Enhanced app.
Zen Enhanced also enables users to integrate their Zen stages with other technology, as each integration is released, and it adds dramatic new 3D touchscreen controls including a user-friendly Joystick feature for instant floor movement underneath your feet.
The Zen Enhanced app effectively future-proofs Zen’s playing surfaces, enabling the firm’s British-based team of tech developers to make further cutting-edge innovations available as remote software downloads.
Introducing Zen Playlists: transforming indoor putting
“Zen Playlists take moving floors further than ever before” said Zen’s Andy Hiseman. “They are like Spotify or Apple Music for putting. Now, Zen owners can preset as many different gradients into their stages as they like – and create their own Playlists of favourites.
“For example, golf coaches can now pre-set different breaks for their lessons, and golfers can create and save putts which they particularly need to practice. And with Zen Enhanced, you can recreate famous putts which you have seen on TV or YouTube, or perhaps common putts from the greens on your own golf course.
“This opens up the prospect of having PGA Tour nights in your clubhouse, recreating memorable putts and shots from Major tournaments, or Ryder Cup contests at home with your friends. With the Zen Enhanced app there’s no limit to how many putts you can store in Playlists and recreate on your Zen Green Stage. It will simply be revolutionary for golf coaches, and for Zen owners everywhere.
“Zen Enhanced will even enable us to send Zen users Famous Putts from history, or from the previous weekend’s Tour events!”
But it’s not all about putting. “Zen Playlists will also make our Zen Swing Stage moving floor even more compelling, giving you the ability to create and store any imaginable fairway slope from the slightest contours up to extreme gradients, so you can access your preferred slopes instantly” said Hiseman.
Choose from two new Apps
The new Zen Enhanced app, which is available to Zen users via an annual subscription payment, is also now joined by another new app – Zen Lite, which is free to all Zen users, and gives basic controls which still enable full movement of the Green Stage and Swing Stage.
All Zen owners can stand on their Green Stage or Swing Stage and adjust their floor as if on the golf course itself, with levels of precision, adjustability and build quality unsurpassed elsewhere in the sport.
Enhanced App vs Lite App: choose your experience
The new choice of two Zen apps – Enhanced and Lite – gives Zen owners a choice between basic operation, and a more comprehensive toolset:
- Zen Lite: Full movement including Left, Right, Up, Down plus Zen’s unique Compound Breaks and Double Breaks – all available in the basic Zen app, and the perfect introduction to the potential of Green Stage and Swing Stage;
- Zen Enhanced: As Zen Lite, plus the addition of Zen’s full suite of advanced features including:
- Customizable Playlists and Presets
- Integration compatibility with 3rd party indoor golf technologies
- 3D Touchscreen Controls including Joystick
- Randomizer
- Future-proofing for further software developments and Zen Enhanced app upgrades
With the Enhanced app Zen owners will find it simple to create limitless different Presets including putting drills and green-reading tests, plus personally-designed challenges and skills tests for both putting and hitting shots, and then save them into their own customized Playlists.
All Zen moving floors also come pre-loaded with a wide selection of basic Presets which give quick access to simple breaks and slopes – but the Zen Enhanced app sets the user free to use their imagination, and create their own unique settings.
With the ability to adjust all four corners independently in 0.1% increments up to mind-boggling slopes and dramatic contours, Zen owners can already recreate almost limitless slopes on their Green Stage or Swing Stage.
Now, Zen Enhanced takes that adjustability to new levels of user-friendliness with powerful 3D Touchscreen Controls which make it easier than ever to dial in the most precisely-calculated breaks.
The convenient and fun new Joystick feature, available exclusively in Zen Enhanced, enables fingertip-control and instant gradient-changes, ideal for customers who want to control their Zen stage in the fastest and simplest way.
Also in Zen Enhanced is the new Randomizer feature, which replicates the unpredictability of a real game of golf with a one-touch randomization of putts and hitting gradients – setting golfers the ultimate green-reading or shot-shaping challenges to sharpen their skills!
Crucially for the future, the Enhanced app also provides Zen owners with access to all of Zen Golf’s current and future integrations with other leading golf technologies. This creates a seamless training experience, linking the Zen software to other systems for greatly-enhanced data capture.
