CLEARWATER, FLORIDA – Zen Golf, leaders in adjustable playing surface technology, will attend next week’s WGCA and GCAA collegiate coaching conventions at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
PGA Tour putting coach Preston Combs, named among Golf Digest’s Best Young Teachers 2025-26, will be joined by Zen Golf’s Sam Drake on the Preston’s Putting booth #119 at both conventions.
Combs is a leading user of Zen Green Stage, and will be speaking about how its ability to move can boost coaching sessions with Quintic, Science & Motion and other putting technologies.
“Moving platforms are a hot topic in the golf coaching world now, and Zen has by far the leading technology for putting with the Green Stage” said Combs, who has a Green Stage at his Preston’s Putting premises in Orlando, Florida.
Sam Drake has overseen Zen installation projects at leading USA universities such as Harvard, Alabama, Florida, Washington, Northwestern, Connecticut, Angelo State, Virginia and Central Florida.
“We are discussing Zen projects with dozens of universities and golf facilities in the USA currently” said Drake. “So this is an ideal opportunity for us to meet the top college coaches before the start of the new NCAA Men’s and Women’s seasons in spring 2025, to help them prepare their teams with the latest coaching technology.”
Combs incorporated Zen Green Stage into his coaching methodology in summer 2022, and has since introduced the brand to many coaches in the college golf market.
