OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL – Zero Friction, the golf industry leader in the performance tee market, has added a 3-inch model to its Power 3 three-prong line of performance tees.
The Zero Friction Power 3 has a deeper 3-prong shape that reduces friction even more than the company’s original performance tee, resulting in more yardage. Along with the new 3-inch height, the Power 3 comes in a 4-inch model, and a variety of colors.
“Every golfer’s swing is unique,” said Zero Friction Founder John Iacono. “Different swings have different needs when it comes to equipment. That’s why we decided to create a three-inch model of our very successful performance tee line. More options are always a plus.”
The primary feature of the Power 3 is the new elevated prong design. Zero Friction has elevated the prongs to maximize ball to clubface contact, thus increasing the optimal hitting area.
Zero Friction established the performance golf tee market many years ago, creating the first and only performance tee to ever carry the PGA TOUR logo. The company produces four different models that come in a variety of sizes and colors.
While Zero Friction got its start in the golf business with performance tees, it has made its mark in recent years with it universal fit glove that molds to your hand for a guaranteed fit. The true advantage of the Zero Friction gloveline for retailers is that the universal fit means shops do not have to carry a huge inventory of sizes. Instead, the shops can offer a large selection of colors.
Zero Friction also benefits golf shops with a creative selection of packaging, including the SuperTubes, which received the 2018 ING Industry Honors Product Ingenuity award for its packaging of a color-matched glove, Spectra™ distance golf balls and tees.
Zero Friction also has logo capabilities including logo golf balls, gloves, and tees, which has experienced significant growth this past year. Licensed gloves and Supertubes featuring NFL, MLB, NHL and the top 20 collegiate teams will also have a dedicated section.
Zero Friction also recently entered the golf laser rangefinder segment in a big way with its Zero Friction Laser Pro and Laser Pro SM products. And like most Zero Friction products, this one has a unique element that separates it from the competitors.
Both Zero Friction Laser Pro models come with a pistol shape rubber handle grip, making it very simple to get yardage for your next shot. Simply aim and click, and the exact distance appears on an easy-to-read LCD display magnified X6.
