Zest.Golf Technologies have released a significant update to their system that allows golf clubs and sales channels to get onto the platform in an easy and logical way. This is part of a series of ongoing functionality updates reacting to the feedback from the marketplace.
The automated onboarding process guides partners through the steps required to get onto the platform. For golf courses, it shows them how to set up their rates and conditions and invite channels to connect. For Sales Channels, it gives them the introduction to connect and set up their mark-up structure.
The Zest platform now features close to 100 golf courses in the main tourism destinations and many more to go live soon and around 40 live channels ready to book when the CV19 situation clears. More courses are getting added to the platform now that the golf industry is slowly opening up.
This update had some additional features, the link to show IAGTO membership for both the course and channels. Additional information can be added in the organisation side to make sure channels and courses communicate effectively.
During the challenging past months, Zest.Golf has continued developing and further updates planned will provide an improved user experience and more options to show tee times and different rate structures. Extensive reporting and a consistent booking experience with group and multi course bookings are also being tested and will get released soon.
Zest.Golf’s Channel Manager is an industry-changing technology that allows golf courses to manage multiple tee time sales channels from one place, setting the conditions like price and availability with each separately.
The company believes the open, independent technology has the potential to revolutionise the golf industry in much the same way channel managers have for the airline and accommodation sector. Zest.Golf literally connects a golf course’s tee time inventory to the world.
Zest.Golf was launched after industry research demonstrated a frustration among golf courses at the lack of opportunity to sell tee-times online over multiple channels.
“Our channel manager delivers the first truly open, independent and global tee time market place that changes the way tee times are distributed and sold online across the globe, ultimately for the good of clubs, players, the industry and the game as a whole,” says Oliver Dury, Commercial Director.
“Any course virtually anywhere in the world can use the Zest.Golf channel manager to list available tee times and rates. We aggregate all the available tee times globally so that a sales channel can access the inventory across countries and sell on to the golfer, who can then make real-time bookings.”
Any channel or golf course can sign up free of charge and only pays a nominal fee when a booking is made.
Zest.Golf is a Business Partner of IAGTO who believe a frictionless tee time booking method for their members, both on the course as the channel side, will become invaluable for the golf travel industry to bounce back after the CV19 situation.
