Harvest, Alabama – Balance-Certified Golf Inc. announced today their plans to introduce two new products at the golf industry’s most influential business gathering, the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show & Convention, January 26-29, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Balance-Certified Golf Inc. will be located next to the Teaching and Training Aids section of the Show floor, in booth number 2841. Balance-Certified Golf Inc. is a technology development company for the golf industry and the 2005 ING’s "Product Innovation" Award winner.
John A. Cranston, VP Marketing
Organized in 1999, Balance-Certified Golf Inc. (BCG) set out to design and deliver golf products that create more CONTROL and better FEEL for all brands of clubs and types of swings. They accomplished this by applying their NASA engineering backgrounds in structures and dynamics to the golf swing. Golf club back-weighting technology became the central theme for the product. The result was the introduction of the Pro-Balance Drop-In Weighting System at the 2001 PGA Merchandise Show. Today we announce the expansion of that line of products with a newly engineered #4 weight for woods and irons and Do-It-Yourself fitting kits for putters and drivers.
The #4 weight is the result of 4 years of TOUR testing and data gathering from our certified fitters around the world. BCG fitters are PGA Pros, teachers and club-builders. They discovered that some stronger and lower handicap players found great benefit from the increased weight in full swing clubs. The #4 weight is 10 grams heavier than the Driver back-weights previously available. The result has been more fairways in regulation and extra distance.
The Do-It-Yourself kit for putters and drivers is designed for those golfers that have heard of the benefits of back-weighting clubs but do not have a BCG fitter nearby or prefer to do their own work. The kits provide all the tools, instructions and weights needed to do 3 clubs. Go to our web site to order your kit.
Both new products will be at the show for you to try. Come see us at the booth or visit us at the ETC putting green #2.
