PLANO, TX—Adams Golf (OTCBB: ADGO) has enhanced its Champions Tour roster by signing 2005 money-leader Dana Quigley, Morris Hatalsky and R.W. Eaks to new endorsement agreements, while resigning Champions Tour pros D.A. Weibring, Des Smyth, Tom Jenkins, and Jose Maria Cañizares.
Quigley enjoyed a career year on last year’s Champions Tour. His remarkable season included victories at the season-opening MasterCard Championship and the Bayer Advantage Classic. Quigley led the Champions Tour in top-10 finishes, all-around ranking and total birdies. He ranked second in scoring average, Charles Schwab Cup points, putting average, putts per round and total driving.
Hatalsky had a great year in 2005, including five straight top-10s and seven top-10s in eight starts early in the season. Morris led the Champions Tour in First-Round Scoring Average and ranked fourth overall in Scoring Average. He also led the Champions Tour in Putting Average for the second straight year.
Eaks also enjoyed an outstanding 2005 season. Thanks to a fourth-place tie at the 2004 Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament, Eaks took advantage of his first-time, fully-exempt tour status by finishing 30th on the 2005 Champions Tour money list. The long-hitting Eaks finished second in driving distance, which included a tie for the longest measured drive on last year’s Champions Tour, 385 yards.
"We’re thrilled with our Champions Tour lineup for 2006," says Chip Brewer, CEO of Adams Golf. "It’s fantastic to have Dana Quigley, the tour’s leading money winner last year, and exciting players like Morris and R.W. on board. We’re looking forward to another stellar year from all of our tour players."
Dana Quigley, Morris Hatalsky and R.W. Eaks join the rest of the Adams Golf Champions Tour staff players – Tom Watson, Allen Doyle, D. A. Weibring, Jerry Pate, Des Smyth, Tom Jenkins and Jose Cañizares.
