Thirty Five Players Use C-Groove Putter Technology at Wendy’s Championship
Denver, Co, August 29, 2006 . . . YES! Golf lead the putter count at last week’s LPGA Wendy’s Championship for Children for the third straight week, according to the Darrell Survey. YES! had 35 C-Groove putters in play with the nearest competitor at 30. Among the top finishers was YES! staff member Jeong Jang, finishing tied for sixth.
This is YES! Golf’s third week in a row for leading the putter count on the LPGA Tour. Yes! had 37 players use the C-Groove putter during the Canadian Women’s Open, August 10 – 13, and also 37 players at the Safeway Classic, August 18 – 20.
"Our weekly success on tour is a strong testament to the benefits of C-Groove putter technology," stated Francis Ricci, CEO & President. "The players like the feel and roll they are getting from the putter which in turn results in more confidence for them around the greens."
YES! Golf had 14 of 17 models in play at the Wendy’s Championship. The new Victoria II, a face- balanced mallet introduced in May, was the most popular among players using C-Groove putter technology.
YES! C-Groove putter face technology is manufactured with a precision-milled set of concentric, C-shaped grooves. These grooves are specifically engineered to enhance and maximize the over-rolling motion of the ball. C-Groove putters roll the ball sooner and truer resulting in more control, accuracy and consistency.
Yes! Golf is the emerging leader in the field of advanced putter design and related technology. Based in Denver, Colorado, European putting instructor and inventor, Harold Swash, started Yes! Golf in 1995. His innovative theory of concentric grooves resulted in C-Groove technology. Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm making Yes! Golf one of the fastest growing putters on the professional tours. For more information on Yes! Golf call 800.845.4327 or log onto www.yesgolf.com.
