Cedar Falls, IA (1/22/07) – UPRIGHT Golf will be introducing their new patent pending MagnaFlex ´Marker Mag’ during the upcoming 2007 PGA Golf Merchandise Show in Orlando. This amazingly simple playing aid enables golfers to place and/or pick up any "magnetic friendly" ball marker without ever having to bend or stoop!
The Marker Mag is designed to be placed on the bottom side of the putter head. One side of the 7/8" diameter Marker Mag is magnetically treated and the other side is treated with a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive). Simply peel the PSA cover off and stick the 1/26" thick (i.e. thinner than a dime) Marker Mag on the bottom side of your putter head (towards the toe end). The Marker Mag allows the golfer to place and pick up any of today’s "magnetic friendly" metal ball markers and it will work on any make or model of putter head.
The new Marker Mag is the newest playing aid offered by UPRIGHT Golf and consistent with the entire line of UPRIGHT Golf playing aids it’s amazingly simple and very easy to use. UPRIGHT Golf is widely recognized as the industry leader in innovative easy-to-use senior and adaptive golf playing aids. "All of our playing aids are designed to make the game easier and more enjoyable for the recreational golfer. Our playing aids are an absolute ‘Godsend’ for any golfer that has a difficult time with all of golf’s repetitive bending," states Jim Egli, founder of UPRIGHT Golf and president of its parent company, Egli & Associates, Inc.
According to the NGF’s most recent annual report there are approximately 7.3 million U.S. golfers that are age 50 or older. The NGF also projects that the number of ‘senior’ golfers will grow to about 12 million over the next two decades. "Our playing aids are primarily marketed to the senior golfer and/or gift givers. We’ve developed the most comprehensive line of playing aids in the world and we’re very excited about the future of our products.
We’re very different than most of today’s golf equipment manufacturers. We’re not interested in helping golfers hit the ball further and fewer times. We’re interested in helping them hit the ball longer and more often – like until they’re 90 and still playing every day!" quipped Egli.
