LPGA Player Jenna Daniels to Wear Verdina Exclusively for the 2007 -2008 Season
NEW YORK, NY (February 27, 2007) — Verdina (www.verdina.com), a sophisticated and versatile women’s golf apparel company, unveiled their latest collection, Fall Transition 2007, at the recent PGA Merchandise Trade Show in Orlando, FL. Created by top executives in the fashion industry, this new and exciting collection is filled with innovative, fresh designs not yet seen in golf apparel.
For Verdina’s Fall Transition collection, shipping this June, "we’ve incorporated some fresh new techniques to enhance hanger appeal and make each customer feel appreciated," says Senior Vice President of Design, Nicole Elizabeth. "Details like contrasting satin ribbon inside the collar, and traditional men’s tailored interior waistbands on pants, with unexpected inspirational messages on a ribbon inside the waist which reads: ‘Look Fabulous, Be Unbeatable – Verdina,’ are fun ways to make the customer feel good and promote confidence with their game."
Verdina’s CEO/President Dana Coppolino adds, "All of our pants have a contoured back waistband, which allows the wearer to move freely, without fear of over-exposure. We pay extra attention to fit. We know women need not only fashion and function, but great fitting clothing."
In the one year since it’s launch, Verdina has made many exhilarating accomplishments, including, dressing LPGA player Jenna Daniels for the 2007 – 2008 golf season; a fashion show on WNBC-TV with LPGA professionals Krista Dunton, Tracy Hanson, Cheryl Anderson, and Andia Winslow; a partnership with the Val Skinner Foundation to join the fight against breast cancer; dressing the Manhattan Golf Classic’s Street Team and having their signature golf dress named on Golf For Women’s Hot List.
Verdina has also tripled its account base since launching one year ago. In addition to expansion throughout the US, the company has begun penetration into the international marketplace including The Ocean Club in the Bahamas.
Verdina is a unique ladies golf apparel collection which melds modern fashion with the functionality of sports apparel. The Verdina collection has a modern and sophisticated color palette, complementing the lifestyle of any woman.
