In 2007, visitors to masters.org will be able to see live Masters bonus coverage on the Tournament’s official Web site.
Beginning Thursday, April 5, Masters Extra will feature one hour of play-by-play action daily, exclusively on-line prior to the cable and network broadcast.
In addition, Amen Corner Live returns for its second year. Those logged on to the Tournament site will be able to see every golfer play Amen Corner live. In 2006 over 3.7 million unique users visited masters.org and over 3 million video streams of live golf action were served.
"Providing this additional coverage further demonstrates the importance we place on the internet," said Billy Payne, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. "The internet complements our broadcast and it fulfills one of our principal objectives of exposing as many people as possible to this great sport of golf. On-line coverage of the Masters has great potential to reach an even larger audience."
