In his new position, Burton will serve as weekly tour ambassador for the Golf Pride brand, helping to promote proper grip usage and care among Tour players, caddies, personnel, golf manufacturers, the media and other industry representatives.
Burton, a graduate of Appalachian State University, has spent the past 11 years in the golf industry, working for the PGA Tour surrounding its tournament administration and player relations.
