FarmLinks LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of John Trawick as the new director of golf at the championship FarmLinks Golf Club in Sylacauga, Ala. In his new role at FarmLinks, Trawick will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as the development and implementation of new golf programs for the 18-hole golf facility, which is currently managed by Honours Golf.

Trawick began his career at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club during the 1999 U.S. Open. Soon after, Trawick joined Honours Golf as head golf professional for Rock Creek Golf Club located in Fairhope, Ala. Beginning in 2003, Trawick served as director of golf at Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, Ala.
Most recently, Trawick worked at Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club in Gulf Shores, Ala. While there, he served as director of golf and club manager and was responsible for the club’s golf operations, food and beverage services and swim, tennis and fitness facilities.

Trawick brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to his new position at FarmLinks. He is a Class A PGA Professional and a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing with an emphasis on professional golf management.
