DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., March 15, 2007 — The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and the Evian Masters hosted by the Evian Royal Resort jointly announce that the 2007 Evian Masters will conclude on Sunday instead of the traditional Saturday finish for the mid-summer event in Evian-Les-Bains, France. The event now will be played from July 26-29. Tournament week will include a Wednesday pro-am followed by the 72-hole competition.

The $3 million Evian Masters is one of 10 Winner events in the LPGA Playoffs 2007. The Evian Masters champion will automatically earn a spot in the season-ending ADT Championship, the culmination of LPGA Playoffs 2007 where the winner earns a $1 million payday.

At the 2006 Evian Masters, Karrie Webb continued her comeback season with her third LPGA win of the year. She bested Laura Davies and Michelle Wie by one shot to claim one of the most prestigious tournament titles in women’s golf. Webb won a total of five LPGA events in 2006.
