ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL — Jack Peter, Vice President and General Manager of the World Golf Hall of Fame at World Golf Village, will be the breakfast speaker at the 17th Annual ING Spring Conference June 3-7 at Turning Stone Resort & Casino.
Peter, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility, will speak about motivation and focus, and will also share some interesting anecdotes from his experiences at the World Golf Hall Of Fame over the years.
The International Network Of Golf, a non-profit, media-based networking organization, conducts this annual gathering of golf industry executives and the media. ING is open to anyone in the golf industry, golf-related businesses and media.
The ING Spring Conference at Turning Stone once again will place focus on developing beneficial relationships among its members. The very popular ING One-On-One Appointment Show will return for a fourth year. The appointment show provides attendees a platform for private meetings to encourage business relationships.
Also on the diverse ING itinerary will be workshops, speakers, the Demo Lab, the Small Groups Topics Breakfast, the ING Media Awards banquet and fashion show.
Two afternoons of golf events will be conducted, including the USA World Qualifier for the International Pairs World Finals. The winning ING duo in this net points contest will represent the USA in the I.P. World Finals in St. Andrews Scotland July 1-3.
Peter joined PGA TOUR Productions in November 1994 as Director of Production, responsible for the project and show divisions. Peter came to the PGA TOUR from The Post Group at The Disney-MGM Studios, a full-service, post-production company, where he served as Vice President and General Manager.
A native of Illinois and 1977 graduate of Loyola in Chicago, Peter began his career at Airfax Productions. In 1987, he helped open Edit Express, a full-service, post-production facility. Three years later, Peter was named Director of Film Post Production at Optimus, Inc., a subsidiary of Anheuser Busch Creative Services Corporation.
Peter was heavily involved in the design and development of the PGA TOUR Productions facility at World Golf Village.
Following Peter’s speech will be Sreenath "Sree" Sreenivasan, Dean of Students at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, who will deliver the Keynote Address.
