Finishes with 20 Birdies & 1.595 Average per GIR at CA Championship
(Franklin, TN – March 27, 2007) Zach Johnson led 2007’s premier field in birdies and putting average at the CA Championship in Miami last weekend.
Johnson finished with 20 birdies and a 1.595 putting average per GIR and placed ninth in this World Golf Championship event which featured the world’s top-ranked players.
This builds on Johnson’s strong 2006 campaign when he finished 24th on the 2006 money list, his third consecutive year among the Top 40 money leaders, and had four top 10 finishes. Johnson was one of the two youngest players who qualified for the U.S. Ryder Cup team.
Johnson uses a SeeMore putter and SeeMore will be introducing a new milled version of the mFGP that Johnson has been using. In 2003, he set a Nationwide Tour season record for fewest average putts per green in regulation, an incredible 1.699, using a SeeMore putter.
Vaughn Taylor who also plays a SeeMore putter finished third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational two weeks ago. Both Johnson and Taylor are in the top 15 in putting average following the WGC Championship in Miami. Taylor also qualified for the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2006. SeeMore was tied for the number one brand played by the American team.
"This was a remarkable showing for Zach while competing against the world’s premier players," says Jim Grundberg, Managing Director of SeeMore Golf. "It has been a great two weeks for SeeMore considering Vaughn’s third place in Orlando the previous week."
Under its new ownership, SeeMore has introduced its new mSeries of putters combining the beauty, precision, accuracy, and feel of 100% milled heads with the original proprietary and proven alignment benefits of the SeeMore RifleScopeâ?¢ Technology (RST) system.
The mSeries comes in three distinctive, finely crafted models to appeal to different player’s putting preferences and styles. The m1 is a classic heel/toe blade with center shaft, the m2 is a classic heel/toe blade with heel shaft and the m3 is a classic mallet with center shaft.
The patented RST alignment system technology allows a golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process resembles locking radar onto a target.
SeeMore became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter. Stewart one-putted the last three holes to win the championship by one stroke. He sunk what’s considered to be the longest putt in Open history on the 18th hole to win the tournament.
SeeMore putters are custom made in Franklin, TN. SeeMore has a newly redesigned website at www.seemore.com
