Digital Golf (www.DigitalGolf.tv) is pleased to announce that noted golf instructors Rudy Duran and Randy Chang will be part of its video Instruction section.
For the past 35 years, Rudy Duran has tutored some of the best young players in the game, including the game’s greatest talent, Tiger Woods. Duran was Tiger’s first golf instructor, and helped teach Tiger the basics from the ages of 4 to 10, when Duran moved from Orange County, CA to San Luis Obispo, CA to follow his dream of managing his own golf course.
Duran is also a best-selling author. His book, In Every Kid There Lurks A Tiger, highlights Duran’s philosophy on golf instruction, specifically for guiding juniors in learning the game. "Over the past 35 years, I have found that by helping playersâ?¦juniors and adults alikeâ?¦increase their commitment to the process of learning and by decreasing their attachment to swing technique and outcome, players have more fun, and perform better," said Duran.
Randy Chang has been guiding golfers since 1983. His "Swing Easy" approach to the golf swing was honed in his upbringing in Honolulu. The Aloha Section of the PGA of America named Chang the 2003 Teacher of the Year. "Everyone is different in the way they learn, but most important is making the student feel comfortable in the learning process," said Chang.
Chang currently runs a chain of golf schools in Southern California and Hawaii, highlighted by his academy at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, CA.
