GolfGym Becomes a Sponsor For "The Mulligan Man"

SANTA ANA, CA – June 21, 2007 – For the past several years, golfers who play in charity golf tournaments throughout Southern California have enjoyed being entertained by Eric Tracy, a.k.a. "The Mulligan Man". Dressed in his signature brightly colored knickers with a putter in one hand and a bullhorn in the other, golfers enjoy fun contests, games, and rock n’ roll golf music throughout the day.

Now golfers will also learn how to become more golf fit at these events thanks to the generous contribution of GolfGym. GolfGym has agreed to supply The Mulligan Man with thousands of dollars in products along with its fun new exercise ball called the PowerGrip Squeasy to give away at his charity events. The PowerGrip Squeasy is a low density foam ball that you squeeze in your hands while performing several different exercises designed to strengthen golf specific muscles. It’s effective, it’s easy to use, and it comes with instructions on how to do 11 different isometric type exercises.

"Eric Tracy helps charities raise tens of thousands of dollars through their golf tournaments," said GolfGym President, Ken Pierce. "We are happy to lend our support to The Mulligan Man and the worthwhile organizations that he works with."

"Golfers today hit the ball so much farther because the golf equipment is better and they are in better shape," commented Tracy. "I am a strong believer in GolfGym products and I am excited about their donation to our 40 tournaments this year. By participating in these events, GolfGym has the opportunity to introduce thousands of golfers to simple, yet effective golf fitness products that can help them play better and enjoy the game for a lot longer."

During The Mulligan Man events, golfers will also have the opportunity to try out GolfGym’s popular PowerSwing Trainer. The patented PowerSwing Trainer is a unique portable training and conditioning tool designed to develop proper swing habits and muscle memory, improve club control and shot accuracy, build strength to add distance, and develop better balance and posture.

Since the introduction of the PowerSwing Trainer over 20 years ago, GolfGym has been the leader in golf fitness. The PowerSwing Trainer has been endorsed by Bob Toski who called it "the best training and conditioning product ever introduced" and by golf legend, Gary Player, who called it the best "golf specific" exercise/swing development program he has ever used.
