Lake Las Vegas Resort resident Natalie Gulbis is coming off a back injury and two straight withdrawals, but she teed off Thursday at Pine Needles Golf Club in one of the featured pairings. She played with fellow ailing golfer Michelle Wie. Other Las Vegas golfers in the field include pros Charlotte Mayorkas, In-Bee Park and Erica Blasberg, and amateur Jennie Lee. Gulbis fired a 74 while Wie shot 82.
