New Bedford, Mass, June 29, 2007 – AHEAD, a leader in branded headwear, apparel and accessories, announces the hiring of four new sales representatives in its key U.S. territories: Jimmy Bishop – South Florida, Hank Ashworth – Northern California, Kenny Blake – New Mexico, Mike Rich – Western Michigan.

Jimmy Bishop comes from a family who has been in golf equipment and apparel sales for over 20 years. He was a sub-rep for his father in South Florida prior to taking the position with AHEAD. A native of South Florida and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Bishop has cultivated strong relationships over the years with golf professionals in his territory.
A 17-year seasoned veteran of the golf industry, Hank Ashworth has been a pioneer throughout his career by putting new companies on the map, like Ashworth, where he helped his brother John, launch the apparel company in the 80’s. He has tremendous knowledge of the apparel industry and a proven track record in sales. His strong ties to the Northern California area make him a true asset to AHEAD.
A former PGA head professional, Kenny Blake has a strong rapport with his fellow PGA professionals in New Mexico. He brings to the position a strong service and merchandising background along with a true understanding of his customers business.
Mike Rich has been a golf sales representative for 13 years who enjoys working closely with his accounts in Western Michigan to insure they develop sound retail strategies to enhance their shop sales. Rich has been instrumental in organizing the return of the popular PGA Michigan Merchandise Show slated for this fall.
