2007 Putter Buyer’s Guide

July 12, 2007

The July issue of Golf Tips is chock-full of equipment coverage, but for truly avid golfers, the 2007 New Putter Buyer’s Guide is the highlight. If you’re interested in making more putts and shooting lower scores, be sure to check out our up-to-date roundup, which includes the most well-known manufacturers like PING, Scotty Cameron and Odyssey, as well as some lesser-known makers like Rife and Macro Golf.

One of the most interesting new models is the Adams DiXX training putter, which features a tiny computer terminal attached to the putterhead that provides immediate feedback regarding swing path, impact position, tempo, face angle and "speed balance." Also noteworthy is MacGregor’s unique Response model that’s made with a dual-insert system that allows the individual golfer to change the feel of the Response at will. Also be sure to check out Rife’s RollGroove face technology, Mizuno’s Bettinardi design models and TaylorMade’s Classic Rossa.

About Golf Tips Media Group:

Golf Tips Media Group has five print publications—Golf Tips Magazine, Golf Equipment Buyer’s Guide, the Best Of Golf Tips, the Golf Instruction Annual and the Golf Travel Annual—the online publication www.golftipsmag.com/, the e-mail subscription eGTnewsletter, and provides content and is also the primary sponsor of GOLF LIFE TV, syndicated nationally on Fox Sports Net©. These properties are written, filmed and edited for the most serious audience in golf—those golfers playing more than once a week, year-round (78+ rounds/year). The editorial content is targeted at the avid player and focuses on three areas: 1) instruction features and tips, 2) equipment reviews and analysis and 3) travel tips and on-course instruction. More textbook than magazine, Golf Tips Media Group’s mission is to educate the reader in the fundamentals and techniques of the game. This combination of print and electronic media content produces the most comprehensive package of information for the serious golfer in the category.

Golf Tips Magazine is a sponsor of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship.
