Another Weekend of Multiple Victories For #1 Brand on Tour

Marlborough, MA-July 16th 2007- This weekend was twice as nice for CHAMP Spikes as winners on both the LPGA and PGA tours wore the unmistakable yellow and black of CHAMP Spikes. At the TPC of Deere Run in Silvis, IL it was the CHAMP Pro Stingerâ?¢ as the spike of choice for the winner’s third career PGA Tour victory. After birdying the last three holes, he finished with a 5-under 66 to win the trophy and qualify for the Open Championship next weekend.

Two states over, in Sylvania, OH, a battle for the title on The LPGA Tour at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic was taking place. After a back and forth charge for victory between the two leaders, both wearing CHAMP Stinger spikes, the eventual champion went on to win the tournament for the fifth time in her career. Overall CHAMP outfitted 6 of the top ten players and over 50% of the field.

Meanwhile, the entire field at Cigna Golf Classic on the Duramed Futures Tour chose CHAMP Spikes. CHAMP is the official spike of the Duramed Futures Tour and is the sponsor of the annual CHAMP Eastern Challenge, which is currently running for the next six weeks at East Coast tournaments.

"CHAMP continues to grow as a company and it is great to see such strong numbers coming from both the PGA and LPGA Tour players," said Harris MacNeill, President of CHAMP. "It’s very rewarding to see a continual increase in the number of manufacturers and golfers who have chosen CHAMP."
