October 22, 2007 – Birmingham, AL – Honours Golf Company has announced that Chad Leonard will serve as the new general manager of Rock Creek Golf Club. Honours Golf owns and manages this semi-private 18-hole golf facility located in Fairhope, Alabama.

Leonard, a native of Washington, D.C., graduated in 1996 from The Citadel (the Military College of South Carolina) where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He brings with him over 10 years experience in golf and real estate.

Prior to joining Rock Creek, Leonard served as the assistant general manager for the Ginn Company’s Belvidere Club and Resort in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to that, he served as general manager for Ginn Company’s RiverTowne Country Club, which received the "South Carolina Golf Course of the Year" award, and general manager for Greenfield Partner’s Patriots Point Links located in Charleston, South Carolina.

In his new role, Leonard will oversee the entire club operations for the semi-private golf club, as well as play an integral role in the development of Rock Creek’s membership.

"Chad Leonard will be a tremendous asset to the Honours family," said Rob Shults, president of Honours Golf. "He exudes the leadership traits, customer service skills, club operations expertise and golf development experience that make him ideal for this position. We’re thrilled to have him join our team and we look forward to the enhancements he will make at Rock Creek."

Rock Creek Golf Club is a semi-private golf club located off Alabama’s Eastern Shore in the quaint town of Fairhope. It features a 7,000 yard, 18-hole Earl Stone designed, championship course that has been consistently rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest. The course offers numerous doglegs and some of the most distinctive topography in lower Alabama including rolling terrain with natural elevation changes unique to lower Alabama. Stone incorporated the fresh water wastelands, hardwood forests and the Rock Creek basin to create many natural hazards while adding to the visual effect of this magnificent course. In addition, Rock Creek offers a newly remodeled clubhouse and access to tennis, swim and fitness facilities.
