ORLANDO, Fla., (January 16, 2008) – Golfweek magazine, the publication preferred by serious golfers, announced today it will provide daily video coverage of the PGA Merchandise Show. Golfweek will begin its video coverage – available at Golfweek.com – on Thursday, January 17, with a preview of new equipment and technology for the 2008 golf season.
Additional programming, posted daily, will include:
One-on-one interviews with top leaders from golf’s major equipment brands
A special report on equipment’s hottest topic: adjustable clubs
Golfweek will end its show coverage on January 19 with the PGA Show Roundup, where members of Golfweek’s editorial team will provide commentary and analysis of the major trends that emerge from the 2008 PGA Show.
Consumers, golf professionals and industry representatives unable to attend the PGA Show can view the daily coverage from the show floor on Golfweek.com, Thursday through Sunday.
“We are thrilled to once again offer coverage from the PGA Show floor,” said Terry Olson, Golfweek’s publisher. “While consumers are still unable to attend the industry only show, they will get the opportunity via Golfweek’s coverage to see the newest equipment and latest products well before they hit local stores and golf shops. Golfweek will give consumers a sneak peek into what is taking place and enable attendees to catch up on things they might have missed.”
