THOMPSONVILLE, MICH (May 9, 2008) – Crystal Mountain Golf Schools’ Junior Golf Academy is adding to its roster of nationally recognized instructors as PGA Professional Adam Schriber comes aboard as lead instructor.

“Our Junior Golf Academy students have had great competitive success at the junior, collegiate, and professional level,” said Brad Dean, Crystal Mountain director of golf. “Adam’s wealth of knowledge developing young talent, like Anthony Kim, will only enhance our program’s success.”

As Lead Instructor within Crystal’s Junior Golf Academy, Schriber will work with a range of students from beginner level to those in the Junior Elite program which has produced three of the last six Michigan Amateur champions. He will also continue working with high profile professionals like Anthony Kim and Candie Kung. Kim, the winner of this past weekend’s PGA Tour Wachovia Championship, stands fourth in FedEx Cup points and fifth in the Ryder Cup standings. Candie Kung is currently among the top 30 money winners on the LPGA Tour.

A former PGA, Nike and Ben Hogan Tour professional, Schriber co-founded the Performax Golf Academy in Dallas and was instrumental in the success of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. He spent over a decade with Leadbetter serving as both Director of Instruction Western U.S. and United States Liaison for the Golf Academy.

Led by Crystal Mountain Director of Golf, Brad Dean and Director of Instruction, Scott Wilson, the Crystal Mountain Junior Golf Academy is designed to take juniors from the beginner level to the professional ranks. The program is an on-going learning and training process over many weeks, months and even years. The academy’s premier students are accepted into the Junior Elite program which features intensive, one-on-one training. Many of Crystal’s Junior Elite students rank among the top collegiate players in the nation.

Celebrating over 50 years, Crystal is a family owned resort, featuring 36 holes of championship golf, world-class golf academy, 45 downhill slopes, 40+ km of cross- country trails, lodging, dining, IACC-approved conference facilities, and coming soon, a full-service destination spa and Michigan’s only alpine slide. SKI Magazine rated Crystal the #1 Resort in the Midwest in 2005. Visit www.crystalmountain.com.
