BEND, OREGON – Tetherow Golf Club recently announced the appointment of Martin Chuck as their new PGA Director of Golf/General Manager. In this role, Chuck will oversee all aspects of golf operations at the David McLay Kidd-designed, Club at Tetherow including member services, golf shop retail activities, memberships sales, guests services, and agronomy.

A member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America, Chuck has over twenty five years of golf experience. Most recently, he was the Director of Golf at the private, ArrowCreek Country Club in Reno, Nevada (2001- 2007). Prior to his experience at ArrowCreek, Chuck was the Director of Golf at Indian Ridge Country Club in Palm Desert, California, (1993-2000) where he served as the host professional of the PGA Tour’s Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in 1996. He also gained valuable golf experience at the National Golf Club of Canada, a facility that has been ranked as one of the top golf courses in Canada for over two decades.
An accomplished player as well, Chuck was a member of the Canadian PGA Tour from 1993 – 1994 and also competed on the Nationwide Tour and various mini-tours during same period. While in the Reno-area, he was crowned as Sierra Nevada PGA Stroke Play Champion in 2006. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University, where he was a 4-Year Letterman on the New Mexico State University Golf Team.

When not working or competing on the golf course, Chuck enjoys skiing, playing ice hockey and musical pursuits which include playing the saxophone and harmonica. He relocated to the Bend area with his wife, Stacey and his one year old daughter, Sami.
While Tetherow develops into the region’s premier “stay and play” resort/private facilities, golfers may access the course while the resort is under development.
